Chers "Stars' album. If you are a fetishist,(and you are!) I know you will enjoy it.

Ercoli Patchwork Jacket someone has posted on Etsy. It was one of my favorite things my company made. The fabrics were from a now defunct fabric store in Phila called Staplers. The owner of the fabric store designed alot of his own fabrics and fabric surface prints and baby, they were off the charts. I bought maybe 1000 yards when then were going out of business and made these jackets and also a very cool cropped camp shirt. The camp shirts were big and fit men as well as women. I still wear the camp shirt, but don't own this jacket, I had one,but must have given it away years ago. so it's doubly fun to see it resurface in pristine condition on etasy.

In The Meantime, Darling - a rich Philadelphia girl marries a soldier.... (costumes by Bonnie Cashin)

Sail On Sailor - a very pretty song by The Beach Boys from their great " Holland" " album.

A weaving sample I did using trash bags, ribbon, crepe paper and siver cord.

Another front and back fashion sketch I did. These are done very quickly, the goal is to keep it loose and 'off the cuff ". This ones about proportion and an 'ugly' aesthetic. Not saying the look itself is ugly but a certain awkwardness keeps the idea alive and moves it forward.

Front and Back of one of my fashion sketches. the front of paper version is pencil driven and sketchy. The back softer and somehow more vintagey looking.

A fashion sketch - scanned from both front and back of the paper. The back view eliminates the pencil lines, in essence the "work". Generally I perfer to keep the search of the pencil lines in but in this case, to get a softer vibe maybe it's better with no pencil. What do you think?

How Soon Is Now? - The Smiths

Edgard Varèse - Intégrales

Another Ercoli dress captured from Ebay. This one is a drop waist with gathered waistline. It must be pretty old, I hardly remember designing it. I do remember a later version that was more trapezed with a pleated 'waistline' It's cool that these things are still around and slowly turning up.

Edgard Varse - poeme electronique
